EMF BUS

Each day of the Oxfordshire Festival, the EMF operates a bus service between Didcot Parkway railway station and Dorchester-on-Thames; and a shuttle bus service from Dorchester to those concerts that take place at Radley College or at All Saints’ Church, Sutton Courtenay.

We are not charging for the EMF Bus Service this year but are requesting donations of £10.00 for a Didcot – Dorchester or Dorchester – Didcot route, and £5.00 for a run from Dorchester to Radley or Sutton Courtenay and for a run back to Dorchester from either of these two venues. Such a donation would help to offset the high costs of fuel and the hire of the vehicle. We would be extremely grateful if you could make donations either by sending a cheque or by BACS transfer in advance of the Festival: details are on the Timetable and Seat Reservation Form, which may be downloaded as a PDF by following this link. Otherwise, the driver can accept a cheque or cash donation on the day.

Please note that seats do need to be reserved by means of the downloadable form as spaces are very limited indeed and seats cannot be guaranteed with prior reservation. The Seat Reservation Form, which also includes a timetable, can be downloaded by following this link, can be filled in digitally and emailed to em.marshall-luck@englishmusicfestival.org.uk; printed and filled in by hand and a scanned copy emailed to the same address; or printed, filled in by hand, and sent by post to Em Marshall-Luck, The English Music Festival, PO Box 123, Clunton, Craven Arms, SY7 7BP.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Festival at Dorchester-on-Thames in May.

A very warm “thank you” to all who helped with the Christmas Concerts in Corbridge: to the community at St Andrew’s Church for welcoming us to their beautiful building and for making such a wonderful setting available to us; to the artists, for their superbly uplifting performances; to the volunteers who worked so tirelessly to help ensure the smooth running of the event; and, as always, to our audiences, for their heart-warming support and appreciation.
